Clearing Web Browser Cache

What is browser cache?

Browser cache is the files and settings that websites save on your computer to allow the website to load faster when it is revisited. Items such as images, videos, or text will be saved on your computer and loaded by the website at a later time. This is usually helpful, as it speeds up page loading time but it can also be a problem, as it won't necessarily show the latest version of a webpage. Most web browsers will automatically update the cache of a webpage but in some cases this does not happen. When the cache is outdated, it needs to be cleared.
