SecureMail: First Time Signup from the PBHS SecureMail Website


Instructions below ONLY apply to SecureMail.

If your practice has an existing free PBHS portal account (if you login to for Secure Mail, Collaborator, TruForm or SEO Reporting), please contact Support for further instructions and to assist with adding a new user as part of your existing account.

  1. Navigate here: 
  2. Select the Order Now button under either Dental or Medical:

    1. If you select Dental, you will be asked if you are an ADA Member - we can use this information to speed up your registration:sign1.png

    2. Or select the Skip button to continue onto the registration:
  3. Under the Registration section, select the Get Started button:
  4. Under the Create a User section, complete the needed fields and select the Next button:
    1. You will have access to change this information through your MySecurePractice Profile at anytime.
    2. Required fields include:  Existing Email, First Name, Last Name, and Cell Phone.
    3. If you select a doctor role, at least one specialty is required. 
    4. The first user added below will be the User Manager for this account. This user will have the ability to manage and purchase SecureMail for any additional users added to your account.
    5. Select the Add Additional User button for each user you would like to register:
    6. If you need to remove a user, select the Remove User button.  You can do this for any user added aside the very first User Manager added. 
  5. Under the Practice Information section, complete the needed fields and select the Next button:
    1. Please keep in mind if you need to update this information at a later date you must contact PBHS Support!
    2. Required fields include:  Practice Name.
  6. An email invitation will be sent to each registered email address entered during step #4 of the registration process.  This will allow you to set your password (skip to step #12 to continue with the email steps if needed).
  7. On the confirmation page, you can now choose to purchase a SecureMail plan by selecting the Buy Now button:
    • Keep in mind at this point you have signed up for the free version of PBHS Secure Mail which can only reply to incoming emails.
    • If you select the Buy Now button, you will have the ability to upgrade any registered users to a paid account.  This will allow you to compose new messages to anyone!
    • Explore User Roles here.
  8. On the Shopping Cart page, select the plan options that you would like:reg7.png
  9. Select the Purchase button:
  10. Enter your credit card account information, and select the Submit Payment button:
  11. Back on the email invitation, follow the instructions provided: 
  12. This will lead you to the Verify your Identity screen, here you will have the following option:

    • Make a call toYou should receive a call immediately, make sure you have a pen and paper before hand to write down the secret code. 
    • Send a text to: You should receive a text immediately, as seen below with your secret code.
  13. Select the correct option in the drop down below, then select the Continue button:
  14. Enter your secret code received, and select the Continue button:
    • Change Delivery Method:  Will allow you to use either your landline or cell phone number (if both were provided) to call or text your secret code.  If selected, repeat steps 12-14.
    • Re-Send Code:  The system will either call or text (depending on what selection you first made) the secret code to you again.  The old secret code will no longer be valid.  If selected, repeat step 14.
  15. Accept the Terms of Use by scrolling to the bottom and selecting the Continue button:terms1.pngterms2.png
  16. Create your new password, and reconfirm by entering it again within the Re-enter Password field:
    1. Note the Password Instructions on the RIGHT.
    2. Select the Continue button when finished:
  17. This will redirect you to the login page below.  Enter your username and the password just created to sign in.
