Using the right Review Site Link
Adding a review link can be as simple as visiting your Facebook or Yelp page and copy/pasting the URL into the review sites menu, however there are a few best practices to consider when choosing which URL to use.
- Login to your website admin
- Navigate to your Launch Survey Request Reviews
- If you have a current campaign, click here for further instructions
- If you have NO campaigns created just yet, click here for further instructions
Adding Review Sites using a Current Campaign
- Select the Review Sites on any current Campaign you have in your list below:
- Select the Add Third Party Review Sites button in the middle of this page:
- Add the title of the Review site you will be adding (i.e. Google, Yelp or Facebook):

Adding Review Sites if you don't have a Current Campaign
You will need to do the first steps of Creating a New Campaign, but these instructions just go over adding your new review sites ahead of Creating a New Campaign.
- Select the Create a New Campaign button:
- Enter a title for your campaign (also used as the Email Subject):
- By default it will provide a title for you Thank You For Choosing [Practice Name Auto Inserted]
- Select the Next button
- Select the Add Third Party Review Sites button
- OR, if you've already added a review site, you can select the Edit Available Review Sites button:
- OR, if you've already added a review site, you can select the Edit Available Review Sites button:
- Under the Review Site Label text field, enter the Review site you will be adding (i.e. Google, Facebook or Yelp)

Facebook makes finding the right link easy. A Facebook Business Page is required in order to complete this!!
- Login to your Facebook Account linked to your Business Account
- Navigate to your Business Page, and select the Settings option:
- Select the Templates and Tabs option on your LEFT hand column
- Scroll down on this page and select the Settings button of the Reviews tab
- Select the Copy URL button to copy the URL under Share Reviews tab
- Navigate back to your reviews setup page, paste (CTRL + V on your keyboard to paste) the Facebook Review Tab URL into the Review Form Page URL:
- Remember to add a Review Site Label (in this case it would be Facebook), and then select the + Add Review Site:
- You can continue adding other Review Sites, once done select the Save and continue campaign setup:
- If you added this from a current campaign, the button will be labeled as Save and Exit. This will bring you back to your Request Reviews tab.
- If you added this from a current campaign, the button will be labeled as Save and Exit. This will bring you back to your Request Reviews tab.
The link creation process for Google is a little trickier, and is also the most important to get right. Using the right link means that the reviewer will immediately be presented with a form to leave a review and star rating instead of relying on the reviewer to navigate the page and find the link on their own. Launch Survey has a tool to help our clients create the right kind of Google link.
- Select the How to add a Google URL button (located in your upper right hand corner):
- Select the Place ID Finder button located on the pop-up, this will help you find the correct ID:
- Enter in your Business Name/Address to find your location ID, select enter on your keyboard once done:
- Copy (CTRL + C on your keyboard to copy) the entire Place ID:
- Navigate back to your reviews setup page, paste (CTRL + V on your keyboard to paste) the Place ID just copied in the Google Place ID
- Enter a title within the Review Site Label (usually you would just enter Google to easily identify it in Launch Survey)
- Select the Save button to save this Review Site back to Launch Survey:
- This will store your new Google Review here to use for any future Campaigns:
- Select the Save and continue campaign setup button
- If you added this from a current campaign, the button will be labeled as Save and Exit. This will bring you back to your Request Reviews tab.
- If you added this from a current campaign, the button will be labeled as Save and Exit. This will bring you back to your Request Reviews tab.
- This will bring you back to the start of the Campaign, select the Cancel button if you do NOT want to create a campaign at this moment:
Yelp
- Navigate to your Yelp Business Page (you do not need to be logged into Yelp)
- Copy the top URL in the address bar as shown below:
- Navigate back to your reviews setup page, paste (CTRL + V on your keyboard to paste) the Yelp Review URL into the Review Form Page URL:
- Select the Save and continue campaign setup button
- If you added this from a current campaign, the button will be labeled as Save and Exit. This will bring you back to your Request Reviews tab.
- If you added this from a current campaign, the button will be labeled as Save and Exit. This will bring you back to your Request Reviews tab.
- This will bring you back to the start of the Campaign, select the Cancel button if you do NOT want to create a campaign at this moment:
