Amazon Fire ADA TV: ADA TV App Options

In this section, we will go over the following:

  1. Options Page
  2. Check for updates
  3. Identifying your Device Name
  4. Review the Devices Reset Time
  5. Log out

Options Page

While the ADA TV app is open and playing your playlist, you can access the options page when needed.

  1. While the ADA TV App is playing from your Fire TV:

  2. Select the Amazon remote Rewind button:

  3. This will take you to the App Options page:

Now you can:

    1. Identify your Device Name
    2. Review the Devices Reset Time
    3. Check for Updates
    4. Log out

Identify your Device Name

This will allow you to identify your app within the MySecurePractice portal, this will especially be useful if you have multiple Amazon Firestick devices assigned.

  1. Once on the Options page

  2. Directly under the ADA TV logo, you will see the label Device:

  3. Here you can see the assigned Device Name (in this example, the device name is Firestick for Cliff Hammer):

  4. If you would like to rename your device(s), click here for further instructions..
    **This is necessary if you have multiple devices assigned to your MySecurePractice account.  It is important to have a unique device name, so you can quickly identify the correct device within your MySecurePractice Portal.

Check for Updates

If you've made modifications to your playlist or device settings, you can restart the ADA TV APP to ensure your device gets the updates made.

  1. Once on the Options page
  2. Select the Check for Updates button

  3. This will close the ADA TV app, and reopen the app which will begin to auto play the default playlist assigned. Any modification made to the playlist or app settings will now be up-to-date.

Log Out

If you would like to log out of the ADA TV app, please follow the below instructions.  Login credentials are not stored, and you will need to reenter your credentials to use the ADA TV app again.

  1. Once on the Options page
  2. Select the Advanced Options button

  3. Select the Log Out button

  4. Select the Log Out Now button

  5. This will take you back to the ADA TV login page

Show Loading Log

  1. Once on the Options page
  2. Tab down and select the Show Loading Log checkbox with your Amazon Firestick Remote
