However, on newer models, you'll need to look it up in the TV's settings menu:
Use your TV's remote to navigate to Settings- Then select Support.
- Select About this TV; the model number or code will be displayed on this page.
Model Number Breakdown:
- The first letter's meaning: The type of TV.
Example: QN65Q800TAFXZA- Q = QLED
- U = LED
- P = Plasma
- L = LCD
- H = DLP
- K = OLED
- The second letter's meaning: Where the TV will be sold.
Example: QN65Q800TAFXZA- N = North America
- E = Europe
- A = Asia
- The first number listed: The size of the TV in inches. For example, a screen may be 55 inches or 65 inches.
Example: QN65Q800TAFXZA
- The next part refers to the specific model.
Example:QN65Q800TAFXZA
- Once you've identified your Model Name, you can now see what Year is associated with your Samsung TV.
